GLOBALSTAR M006, also known as Globalstar M006, is a communication satellite identified by NORAD CAT ID 25307 and OBJECT ID 1998-023B. Launched on April 24, 1998, from the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station LC17A launch pad using a Delta 7420-10C launch vehicle, this satellite has a configuration of LS-400 and was manufactured by LOR for the United States. The spacecraft measures 1.5 meters in length with a diameter of 0.6 meters and a span of 12 meters when its solar arrays are deployed. It had a dry mass of 380 kilograms and a launch mass of 450 kilograms, equipped with deployable solar arrays and batteries for power. The satellites shape is described as a box with two panels and has a reflective cross-section (RCS) area of 2.4068 square meters. It was designed to operate in orbit for approximately 7.5 years.
