MOLNIYA 1-91 (also known as Molniya-1T) is a communication satellite launched on September 28, 1998, from the Plesetsk launch site using the Molniya 8K78M launch vehicle. It was manufactured by NPOPMR and has dimensions of 4.4 meters in length, 1.4 meters in diameter, and a span of 8.6 meters with its solar arrays deployed. The satellites dry mass is 1620 kilograms, and it weighed 1670 kilograms at launch. Its primary mission was communication, powered by six deployable solar arrays and batteries. MOLNIYA 1-91 has a cylindrical shape with six panels and an RCS of 15.4313. The satellites lifetime was estimated to be three years.
