GLOBALSTAR M036, also known as Globalstar M036, is a communication satellite manufactured by LOR and owned by GLOBT. It was launched on February 9, 1999, from the TYMSC launch site using a Soyuz-U-PVB launch vehicle from LC1 pad. The satellite has a configuration of LS-400 and measures 1.5 meters in length with a diameter of 0.6 meters and a span of 12 meters. It has a dry mass of 380 kg and a launch mass of 450 kg, powered by two deployable solar arrays and batteries. The missions purpose is communication, using the LS-400 AOCS motor for attitude control. Its RCS value is 2.1998 and its shape is described as Box + 2 Pan. The satellite has a lifetime of approximately 7.5 years and carries the payload Globalstar FM36.
