GLOBALSTAR M047 is a communication satellite with the NORAD catalog ID 25772 and object identifier 1999-031C. Launched on June 10, 1999, from Cape Canaveral Air Force Stations SLC17B launch pad aboard a Delta 7420-10C launch vehicle, the satellite was built by LOR and is owned by GLOBT (Globalstar). It measures 1.5 meters in length with a diameter of 0.6 meters and a span of 12 meters when its deployable solar arrays are extended. The satellite has a dry mass of 380 kg and weighed 450 kg at launch, equipped with batteries for power storage. Its mission is to provide communication services as part of the Globalstar constellation. The motor system used for attitude control is LS-400 AOCS. The RCS value is 2.5521, indicating its reflective surface characteristics.
