GLOBALSTAR M048 is a communication satellite operated by GLOBT (Globalstar), launched on July 25, 1999, from Cape Canaveral Air Force Stations SLC17A pad using the Delta 7420-10C launch vehicle. The spacecraft has dimensions of 1.5 meters in length and a diameter of 0.6 meters with a span of 12 meters when its deployable solar arrays are extended, providing power along with batteries. It carries the payload Globalstar FM48 for communication purposes.
