It was launched on August 17, 1999, from Cape Canaveral Air Force Stations SLC17B launch pad using the Delta 7420-10C launch vehicle. The satellite is owned by GLOBT and its payload is identified as Globalstar FM54. Its dimensions are a length of 1.5 meters, diameter of 0.6 meters, and span of 12 meters.
