GLOBALSTAR M033, also known as Globalstar M033, is a communication satellite with the NORAD identification number 25909 and object ID 1999-049C. It was launched on September 22, 1999, from the TYMSC launch site using Soyuz-U-PVB as the launch vehicle from LC1 pad. The satellite has a box plus two panel shape with dimensions of 1.5 meters in length and 0.6 meters in diameter, featuring a span of 12 meters when fully deployed. It weighs 380 kg dry and had an initial launch mass of 450 kg. Equipped with two deployable solar arrays and batteries for power, the satellite uses the LS-400 AOCS motor for attitude control. The missions purpose is communication services, and its expected lifetime is approximately 7.5 years. Manufactured by LOR (Loral Corporation), it was owned by GLOBT (Globalstar LP) at the time of launch.
