GLOBALSTAR M031, also known as Globalstar M031, is a communication satellite operated by GLOBT and manufactured by LOR under the LS-400 configuration. Launched on October 18, 1999, from TYMSC LC1 using the Soyuz-U-PVB launch vehicle, it has dimensions of 1.5 meters in length, 0.6 meters in diameter, and a span of 12 meters. The satellite carries the Globalstar FM31 payload for communication purposes and features two deployable solar arrays and batteries as its power source. It has a dry mass of 380 kg and launched with a total mass of 450 kg. The satellites motor is an LS-400 AOCS, and it has a shape described as Box + 2 Pan with an RCS value of 2.3172. Its designed lifetime is approximately 7.5 years.
