Launched on November 22, 1999, from TYMSC LC1 using a Soyuz-U-PVB launch vehicle, this satellite was manufactured by LOR for GLOBT (Globalstar). It is part of the LS-400 bus and configuration series with dimensions of 1.5 meters in length, 0.6 meters in diameter, and has a span of 12 meters when its solar arrays are deployed. The spacecraft has a dry mass of 380 kg and a launch mass of 450 kg. Its mission involves communication purposes powered by two deployable solar arrays and batteries.
