The spacecraft measures 1.5 meters in length and has a diameter of 0.6 meters with a span of 12 meters when deployed. It weighs 380 kilograms dry and had an initial launch mass of 450 kilograms. Manufactured by LOR, the satellite uses the LS-400 AOCS motor for its attitude control system and is powered by two deployable solar arrays and batteries. The mission of GLOBALSTAR M060 involves communication purposes with a specified lifetime of 7.5 years.
