It was launched on February 8, 2000, from Cape Canaveral Air Force Stations SLC17B pad using a Delta 7420-10C launch vehicle. The satellite is owned by GLOBT and has the payload named Globalstar FM64. Manufactured by LOR, it operates with an AOCS (Attitude and Orbit Control System) known as LS-400 and features a configuration identified as BUS LS-400. It measures 1.5 meters in length, 0.6 meters in diameter, and has a span of 12 meters. The dry mass is 380 kilograms, while the launch mass was 450 kilograms. Equipped with deployable solar arrays and batteries for power generation, it has an expected operational lifetime of 7.5 years.
