Launched on September 26, 2005, from Space Launch Complex 17A at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station using a Delta 7925-9.5 launch vehicle, it has a dry mass of 910 kilograms and was manufactured by LMVF. The satellites dimensions are 1.5 meters in length, 1.9 meters in diameter, and spans 19.3 meters when its solar arrays are deployed. It is powered by two deployable solar arrays and batteries. NAVSTAR 57 operates under the AS-4000 configuration with a box shape augmented by two panels and has an RCS of 3.2653. Its motor is a Star 37XFP, and it carries GPS SVN 53 as its payload for navigation purposes.
