It was launched on May 29, 2007, from the Tymshchyna Space Centre (TYMSC) Launch Complex 31 (LC31), using a Soyuz-FG launch vehicle. The satellite has dimensions of 1.5 meters in length and 0.6 meters in diameter with a span of 12 meters. It weighs 450 kg at launch, with a dry mass of 380 kg. Manufactured by LOR (Lockheed Martin), it is part of the Globalstar constellation owned by GLOB (Globalstar).
