GLOBALSTAR M068 is a communication satellite identified by NORAD as CAT_ID 32266 and OBJECT_ID 2007-048D. Manufactured by LOR, the spacecraft was launched on October 20, 2007, from the Tycyclon launch site (LC31) using a Soyuz-FG launch vehicle. It has dimensions of 1.5 meters in length and 0.6 meters in diameter with a span of 12 meters, designed as a LS-400 configuration. The satellites dry mass is 380 kg, and its total launch mass was 450 kg. Equipped with two deployable solar arrays and batteries for power supply, it serves communication purposes under the ownership of GLOB (Globalstar). Its mission is to facilitate communication services through the payload named Globalstar FM68, which includes an LS-400 AOCS motor for orientation control. The satellite has a designed lifetime of 7.5 years.
