It was launched on June 19, 2008, from Kymyrsky Missile Test Range (KYMSC) at launch pad LC107 using a Kosmos 11K65M launch vehicle. The satellite is owned by ORBC and manufactured by OHB/POLK. Its configuration is based on the Sterkh Bus and it serves communication M2M/IoT and traffic monitoring purposes.
