The satellite FM-5 (Sirius FM-5) is owned by SIRX and operated for communication purposes specifically for direct radio broadcasting under the payload Sirius CD Radio 5. Launched on June 30, 2009, from the TYMSC launch site using a Proton-M/Briz-M launch vehicle from Launch Pad LC200/39, FM-5 has dimensions of 5.2 meters in length and 5.6 meters in diameter with a span of 24.8 meters.
