The COSMOS 2457 [GLONASS-M] satellite, also known as Kosmos-2457, is a navigation satellite launched on December 14, 2009, from the TSMC LC81/24 launch pad using a Proton-M/DM-2 vehicle. It features a 3-Axis stabilized Uragan-M bus and has dimensions of 4 meters in length, 1.5 meters in diameter, and a span of 7.8 meters. The satellites dry mass is 1200 kg with a launch mass of 1450 kg. It was manufactured by RESH for the KVR/IACG and carries the Uragan-M No. 33L payload. Equipped with two deployable solar arrays and batteries, COSMOS 2457 is designed for navigation purposes and has a lifetime of 7 years.
