XM-5, also known as Sirius XM-5, is a communication satellite with the OBJECT_ID 2010-053A and NORAD_CAT_ID 37185. It was manufactured by LOR using the SSL-1300 bus configuration. The satellite measures 8 meters in length, has a diameter of 3.4 meters, and spans 31 meters when its solar arrays are deployed. Its dry mass is 3163 kg, with a launch mass of 5984 kg. XM-5 was launched from the TYMSC site on LC81/24 using a Proton-M/Briz-M launch vehicle on October 14, 2010, and achieved stability by October 15, 2010.
