The BEIDOU-2 G4 satellite, also known as Beidou DW 6, is operated by CNSA and serves a navigation mission. It was launched on October 31, 2010, from Xichang Satellite Launch Center (LC2) using the Chang Zheng 3C launch vehicle. The spacecraft has dimensions of 3 meters in length, 1.7 meters in diameter, and an overall span of 18 meters when fully deployed. It has a dry mass of 1700 kg and was launched with a total mass of 3060 kg. BEIDOU-2 G4 is equipped with two deployable solar arrays and batteries for power generation. The satellites configuration follows the DFH-3 Bus design, manufactured by CAST, and its shape consists of a box with two panels. It features an RCS of 19.9526 and uses a FY-25 motor. Its operational lifetime is expected to be eight years.
