INTELSAT 20 (IS-20), also known as Intelsat IS-20, is a communication satellite with an SSL-1300 configuration and was manufactured by LOR. Launched on August 2, 2012, from ELA3 at the Guiana Space Centre using an Ariane 5ECA launch vehicle, it has a dry mass of 2,989 kg and a launch mass of 6,094 kg. The satellite is owned by INTELU and equipped with 2 deployable solar arrays for power supply, supporting its mission lifespan of 18 years. It carries 24 C-band transponders, 54 Ku-band transponders, and 1 Ka-band transponder for communication purposes. The spacecraft has dimensions of 8.5 meters in length, 3.2 meters in diameter, and a span of 32.4 meters.
