GLOBALSTAR M096, also known as Globalstar M095, is a communication satellite built by THALR for GLOBL and launched on February 6, 2013, from the TYMSC launch site using Soyuz-2-1A at LC31. It has a dry mass of 500 kg and a launch mass of 715 kg with dimensions including a length of 4 meters, diameter of 2 meters, and span of 12 meters. The satellite is equipped with 16 C-to-S-band transponders and 16 L-to-C-band transponders for communication purposes. Its power supply consists of two deployable solar arrays providing 2.4 kW at beginning of life (bol) and 1.7 kW at end of life (eol), along with batteries. The satellite is designed to operate for a lifetime of 15 years using an LS-400 AOCS motor for attitude control. It has a shape described as Trap Cyl + 2 Pan, with an RCS value of 4.5814 and was part of the Prisma BUS configuration.
