COSMOS 2485 [GLONASS-M], also known as Kosmos-2485, is a navigation satellite launched on April 26, 2013, from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome Launch Site PLMSC using the Soyuz-2-1B launch vehicle. It operates with a 3-Axis stabilized Uragan-M bus and has dimensions of 4 meters in length, 1.5 meters in diameter, and spans 7.8 meters when its components are deployed. The satellites dry mass is 1200 kg, while it had an initial launch mass of 1450 kg. It was manufactured by RESH and belongs to VVKO/IACG. Its primary mission is navigation, powered by two deployable solar arrays and batteries, and has a designed lifetime of 7 years.
