The O3B FM4 satellite, also known as O3b FM4, was launched on June 25, 2013, from the Guiana Space Center using a Soyuz-ST-B launch vehicle. Built by THALR, it has a box trap+2 pan shape and dimensions of 4 meters in length and 2 meters in diameter with a span of 12 meters. It weighs 700 kg at launch and has a dry mass of 500 kg. The satellite is equipped with 12 Ka-Band transponders, two deployable solar arrays, batteries for power storage, and an LS-400 AOCS motor for attitude control. Its mission is communication purposes with a planned lifetime of 10 years.
