O3B FM8 is a communication satellite with the NORAD catalog ID 40082 and object ID 2014-038D. Launched on July 10, 2014, from ELS launch pad at FRGUI using a Soyuz-ST-B vehicle, it has a configuration of ELiTeBus-1000 and is part of the Prisma bus series. The satellite was manufactured by THALR for O3B Networks, designed to operate in orbit with a mission duration of 10 years.
