GSAT0202 (GALILEO 6), also known as GalileoSat-6, is a satellite launched on August 22, 2014, from the Guiana Space Center using a Soyuz-ST-B launch vehicle. The spacecraft has dimensions of 2.7 meters in length and 1.6 meters in diameter with a span of 14.5 meters due to its solar arrays. It was manufactured by OHB for the European Unions Galileo program, operated by GSAEU. Its dry mass is 700 kilograms and it had an initial launch mass of 733 kilograms. The satellite is equipped with a Galileo Navigation payload and MEO SAR system, powered by two deployable solar arrays and batteries. It is designed for navigation purposes with an operational lifetime of 12 years.
