INTELSAT 30 (IS-30), also known as Intelsat IS-30, is a communication satellite owned by INTELU/DTV and manufactured by SSL using the SSL-1300 configuration. Launched on October 16, 2014, from ELA3 at FRGUI with an Ariane 5ECA launch vehicle, it has a length of 8.6 meters, diameter of 3.1 meters, and span of 32.4 meters. The satellite weighs 6,320 kg at launch and has a dry mass of 3,000 kg. It is equipped with 10 C-band and 72 Ku-band transponders for communication purposes and powered by two deployable solar arrays providing up to 20 kW of power along with batteries. The satellites mission is set to last for 15 years.
