The O3B FM10 satellite, also known as O3b FM10, is a communication satellite manufactured by THALR and launched on December 18, 2014, from the ELS launch pad at FRGUI using a Soyuz-ST-B launch vehicle. It has a configuration of ELiTeBus-1000 and measures 4 meters in length with a diameter of 2 meters and a span of 12 meters. The satellite is owned by O3B and operated for the UK, equipped with 12 Ka-band transponders and powered by two deployable solar arrays along with batteries. Its dry mass is 500 kg while its launch mass was 700 kg. It has a mission lifetime of 10 years and uses an LS-400 AOCS motor for attitude control. The satellites shape is described as box trap+2 pan, and it serves communication purposes within the constellation.
