GSAT0208 (GALILEO 11), also known as GalileoSat-11, is a navigation satellite launched on December 17, 2015, from the Guiana Space Center using a Soyuz-ST-B launch vehicle. The spacecraft measures 2.7 meters in length, has a diameter of 1.6 meters, and spans 14.5 meters with its solar arrays deployed. It has a dry mass of 660 kilograms and a launch mass of 733 kilograms. Equipped with the Galileo Navigation payload and MEO SAR equipment, it is designed for navigation purposes and powered by two deployable solar arrays and batteries. The satellite was manufactured by OHB and operated under the ownership of GSAEU. With an expected lifetime of twelve years, GSAT0208 supports the SmartMEO configuration and has a shape described as Box+2 pan, featuring AOCS for motor functions.
