Launched on December 22, 2015, from Launch Pad LC40 at AFETR using the Falcon 9 launch vehicle, it operates with a mission focused on Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communication and Internet of Things (IoT), as well as traffic monitoring. The satellite features an SN-100A bus configuration manufactured by SNVL, measures approximately 1 meter in length with a diameter of 0.5 meters, and spans about 13 meters due to its deployable solar array which powers the spacecraft along with batteries. Its dry mass is 158 kilograms, and it had a launch mass of 172 kilograms. Equipped with an Orbcomm payload and an AIS-receiver, the satellites shape consists of a box plus panel and antenna components. The expected operational lifetime exceeds five years.
