It was launched on December 22, 2015, from LC40 at AFETR using the Falcon 9 launch vehicle. The satellite has a SN-100A bus configuration manufactured by SNVL and is owned by ORBC. Its mission involves M2M/IoT communication and traffic monitoring. The satellite measures approximately 1 meter in length with a diameter of 0.5 meters, spans 13 meters when fully deployed, and has a dry mass of 158 kg. It was launched with a total mass of 172 kg and includes an Orbcomm payload along with an AIS-receiver for equipment operation. The power system consists of deployable solar arrays and batteries, and the satellites expected lifetime is over 5 years.
