Launched on December 22, 2015, from Cape Canaveral Air Force Stations Launch Complex 40 using the Falcon 9 launch vehicle, this satellite is owned by ORBC and manufactured by SNVL. It operates on a SN-100A bus configuration with dimensions of 1 meter in length, 0.5 meters in diameter, and spans 13 meters. The satellite has a dry mass of 158 kg and a launch mass of 172 kg. Equipped with an Orbcomm payload and AIS-receiver for communication purposes, it is powered by deployable solar arrays and batteries. With a shape described as box+pan+ant, the spacecraft has a radar cross-section (RCS) of 0.55 square meters. The satellites expected lifetime exceeds five years.
