BEIDOU-2 G7, also known as Beidou DW 23, is a navigation satellite launched by CNSA on June 12, 2016, from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center (Launch Pad LC3) using the Chang Zheng 3C launch vehicle. The spacecraft has dimensions of 3 meters in length and 1.7 meters in diameter with a span of 18 meters, featuring a box shape with two panels. It weighs approximately 3060 kg at launch and 1700 kg dry mass. Equipped with the DFH-3B bus configuration manufactured by CAST, it operates on solar power using two deployable solar arrays and batteries. The satellite uses the FY-25 motor and is designed for an operational life of 8 years in its mission to provide navigation services.
