IRIDIUM 114, also known as Iridium Next SV114, is a communication and traffic monitoring satellite owned by IRIDS (Iridium LLC) and manufactured by OATKGA. It was launched on January 14, 2017, from the AFWTR at SLC4E using a Falcon 9 launch vehicle. The satellite has dimensions of 3.1 meters in length, 1.5 meters in diameter, and spans 9.4 meters. Its dry mass is 700 kg, and it weighs 860 kg at launch. It is equipped with L-band payload, Ka-band cross-links, Ka-band downlinks, ADS-B payload, and AIS-receiver technology for communication and traffic monitoring purposes. IRIDIUM 114 has a design lifetime of 10 years but aims to operate up to 15 years. Its power source includes two deployable solar arrays and batteries.
