The BEIDOU-3 M1 satellite, also known as Beidou DW 24, is a Chinese navigation satellite launched on November 5, 2017, from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center (LC3) using the Chang Zheng 3B/YZ-1 launch vehicle. It has dimensions of 2.2 meters in length and 1.7 meters in diameter with a span of 10 meters. The satellites dry mass is 850 kilograms, while its launch mass was 1014 kilograms. BEIDOU-3 M1, manufactured by CAST for the China National Space Administration (CNSA), has a mission lifespan of 12 years and utilizes two deployable solar arrays and batteries for power supply.
