IRIDIUM 151 (also known as Iridium Next SV151) is a communication and traffic monitoring satellite operated by IRIDS. It was launched on December 23, 2017, from AFWTR SLC4E using the Falcon 9 launch vehicle. The satellite has a configuration of ELiTeBus-1000 with dimensions: length 3.1 meters, diameter 1.5 meters, and span 9.4 meters. It carries an L-band payload, Ka-band cross-links, Ka-band downlinks, ADS-B payload, and AIS-receiver. The dry mass is 700 kg, while the launch mass was 860 kg. The satellite is powered by two deployable solar arrays and batteries, designed for a ten-year lifespan with plans to extend it up to fifteen years. Its shape is described as a half hex prism plus two panels, and it was manufactured by OATKGA.
