Additional information LEO 1

LEO 1 (LEO VANTAGE 1), also known as LEO Vantage 1, is an experimental communication satellite built by SSTLA and owned by TCANL. Launched on January 12, 2018, from the SRILR launch site using a PSLV-XL launch vehicle, this satellite features a configuration of SSTL-42 with dimensions of 0.7 meters in length and diameter, and a span of 1 meter. The dry mass and launch mass are both 100 kilograms. Equipped with a Ka-band payload for communication purposes and solar arrays along with batteries for power supply, the satellite has a box-shaped body with an attached dish. It was launched as part of Telesats Phase 1 LEO constellation for experimental communication missions.
