BEIDOU-3 M18, also known as Beidou DW 43, is a navigation satellite launched by CNSA on November 18, 2018, from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center (LC3) using the Chang Zheng 3B/YZ-1 launch vehicle. The spacecraft has dimensions of approximately 2.2 meters in length and 1.7 meters in diameter with a span of 10 meters. It weighs 1014 kilograms at launch, with a dry mass of 850 kilograms. The satellite is equipped with 2 deployable solar arrays and batteries for power supply and has a mission lifetime of 12 years. Manufactured by CAST, BEIDOU-3 M18 serves the purpose of navigation as part of the Beidou-3 constellation and features a shape described as Box + 2 Pan.
