IRIDIUM 167, also known as Iridium Next SV167, is a communication and traffic monitoring satellite owned by IRIDS and manufactured by NGISGA. Launched on January 11, 2019, from AFWTR using the Falcon 9 launch vehicle, it has a configuration of ELiTeBus-1000 with dimensions: length 3.1 meters, diameter 1.5 meters, and span 9.4 meters. The satellites dry mass is 700 kg, while its launch mass was 860 kg. It is equipped with an L-band payload, Ka-band cross-links and downlinks, as well as ADS-B payload and AIS-receiver. Its power system includes two deployable solar arrays and batteries. Designed for a ten-year lifespan but planned for fifteen years of operation, the satellites shape is described as a half hex prism with two panels.
