The STARLINK-60 satellite, also known as Starlink 60 and operated by SPXS (SpaceX), was launched on May 24, 2019, from Cape Canaveral Air Force Stations Launch Complex 40 using a Falcon 9 launch vehicle. This communication satellite has dimensions of 0.2 meters in length, 2.8 meters in diameter, and spans 9 meters with its deployed solar arrays. It carries a Ku-band payload for communication purposes and is powered by solar arrays and batteries. The dry mass of the spacecraft is 219 kilograms, while its launch mass was 227 kilograms. Equipped with Krypton ion thrusters for propulsion, it serves as part of SpaceXs Starlink constellation aimed at providing global internet coverage.
