Additional information STARLINK-1057

The STARLINK-1057 satellite, also known as Starlink 1057, was launched on November 11, 2019, from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (LC40) using a Falcon 9 launch vehicle. It is owned and operated by SPXS and forms part of the Starlink constellation for communication purposes. The satellite has dimensions of approximately 0.2 meters in length, 2.8 meters in diameter, and 9 meters in span, with a dry mass of 248 kilograms and a launch mass of 260 kilograms. Equipped with Ku/Ka-band payload (all) and optical inter-satellite links on a few prototypes, it uses krypton ion thrusters as its motor system for propulsion. Power is provided by solar arrays and batteries. The satellites shape is described as box + pan.
