Launched on January 7, 2020, from Cape Canaveral Air Force Stations Launch Complex 40 (LC40) using a Falcon 9 launch vehicle, it has dimensions of 0.2 meters in length, 2.8 meters in diameter, and spans up to 9 meters when fully deployed. Its shape is described as Box + pan, and it weighs approximately 260 kilograms at launch with a dry mass of 248 kilograms. Equipped with Ku/Ka-band payload capabilities (all) and optical inter-satellite links (on prototypes), the satellite uses krypton ion thrusters for propulsion and solar arrays with batteries for power supply, aligning with its mission to provide communication services.
