STARLINK-1082 is a communication satellite operated by SpaceX (SPXS) and was launched on January 7, 2020, from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station Launch Complex 40 using a Falcon 9 launch vehicle. With dimensions of approximately 0.2 meters in length, 2.8 meters in diameter, and a span of 9 meters, the satellite has a dry mass of 248 kilograms and was launched with a total mass of 260 kilograms. It is equipped with Ku/Ka-band payload technology and optical inter-satellite links for communication purposes, using krypton ion thrusters as its motor system and solar arrays along with batteries for power supply. The satellites shape consists of a box design plus an additional pan configuration.
