It was launched on January 29, 2020, from Cape Canaveral Air Force Stations Launch Complex 40 using the Falcon 9 launch vehicle. The satellite has a length of 0.2 meters, a diameter of 2.8 meters, and a span of 9 meters. It weighs 260 kilograms at launch with a dry mass of 248 kilograms. Equipped with Ku/Ka-band payload capabilities and optical inter-satellite links (prototypes), the satellite utilizes solar arrays and batteries for power generation. Its shape is described as box-like with a pan component, and it uses Krypton ion thrusters for propulsion.
