The satellite ONEWEB-0049, also known as OneWeb SL0049, is a UK-manufactured communication satellite based on the Arrow bus configuration and was launched by Oneweb on February 6, 2020, from TYMSC LC31 using the Soyuz-2-1B launch vehicle. It has dimensions of 1.3 meters in length, 1 meter in diameter, and a span of 5 meters. The satellites dry mass is 140 kilograms with a launch mass of 148 kilograms. Equipped with a Ku-Band payload and solar arrays for power, it also utilizes SPT-50 or BHT-350 Hall effect thrusters as its motor system. Its shape consists of a trapezoid plus two panels. The missions purpose is communication and has an expected lifetime of 7 years.
